Art to Art: Creative Well
June Session, The Money Talk
Money is one of the most common and least openly discussed parts of sustaining a creative life.
Pricing work. Asking for payment. Grants. Contracts. Burnout. Survival jobs. Studio rent. Client work. The tension between making meaningful work and making a living.
For June’s Art to Art gathering, we’ll open space for an honest conversation around the financial realities of creative practice: not as experts with perfect answers, but as artists and working creatives navigating these questions in real time.
Hosted at Phoenixville Daily, a working creative space built around shared studios, exhibitions, and evolving artistic practice, this conversation will be grounded in the realities of sustaining creative work and creative spaces.
The evening will include a roundtable discussion with working artists, guided discussion, anonymous audience questions, and a short wellness component focused on releasing shame and silence around money conversations in the arts.
Anonymous questions are especially encouraged for this session. Respond with yours at the link in bio.
What’s the money question you’ve never felt comfortable asking out loud?
