Introducing Dinner en Blob—our delightfully weird twist on the iconic “Dinner en Blanc”… but make it Blob.

If you’ve never done one of these before, here’s the deal 👇
❤️ YOU wear red (head-to-toe, go big or go home)
🍽️ YOU bring your own dinner, drinks, silverware & table decor
📍 WE provide the mystery—the location is secret and revealed closer to the event
🎪 TOGETHER we transform the space into a glowing sea of crimson

Inspired by the famous communal pop-up dinners, this is all about showing up, setting your table, and sharing a one-of-a-kind evening with fellow Blobfest fans—equal parts picnic, party, and performance.

The Cirque du Blobfest Costume Contest is your moment to shine under the big top—so bring the drama, the weird, and the wonderfully over-the-top.

🕛 Registration: 12PM
🎤 Showtime: 1PM | Main & Bridge Street Stage

From retro sci-fi creatures to circus oddities, classic horror icons to full-on Blob-inspired chaos—anything goes (as long as you bring the showmanship 😉). Costumes are judged on creativity, originality, ex*****on, and stage presence… so don’t hold back.

Got a wild idea? A weird little story? A blob… and maybe a clown? 👀

Then it’s time to enter the Shorty’s Short Film Contest at Cirque du Blobfest.
Create your own bite-sized cinematic spectacle (under 3 minutes!) and join the most delightfully chaotic side-show of storytelling this side of the Big Top. Sci-fi, spooky, silly—it’s all welcome, as long as your film brings the fun (and yes… includes both a Blob and a clown).

🏆 Winners are crowned LIVE during Friday night’s immersive screening—under the lights, in front of a roaring Blobfest crowd.

🎥 All entries screen during the festival—your film, on the big screen, all weekend long.
