The Colonial Theatre hosts a three day event in commemoration of the original 1958 classic THE BLOB, including screenings of The Blob and other sci-fi horror classics, re-enactment of the theater 'Run Out' scene, a street fair, and various contests.

One week later… and we’re still replaying this moment. ❤️🫧

Every year, it happens in what feels like the blink of an eye. Months of planning, countless volunteers, incredible sponsors, talented vendors, and thousands of Blob fans all come together for one unforgettable weekend… and then suddenly, it’s over.

To everyone who attended, volunteered, dressed up, ran screaming from The Blob, shopped with our vendors, and supported The Colonial Theatre—thank you for making our 25th Blobfest one for the history books.

🎪🩸 IT'S BLOBFEST WEEK! 🩸🎪

Only 4 more days until CIRQUE du BLOBFEST takes over Phoenixville! 🤡🎈 The countdown is officially on, and we can't wait to welcome thousands of horror fans, film lovers, and circus-goers for our biggest weekend of the year.

As we kick off Blobfest Week, we want to give a huge thank you to this year's incredible poster artist, Dave Perillo ()! 🎨 Dave's signature retro style perfectly captures the vintage sci-fi spirit of The Blob while bringing this year's circus theme to life. His impressive client list includes Disney, Lucasfilm, Marvel, Warner Bros., Mondo, CBS Television, and more, and his work has been featured in galleries across the country. Drawing inspiration from 1950s sci-fi, classic animation, and pop art, Dave created a poster we're proud to call one of our favorites yet.

The final day of Cirque du Blobfest brings a little magic, a little mischief, and one last chance to soak it all in:

Catch The Blob (1958), then step into the eerie with Clown in a Cornfield with Adam Cesare. Close out the night with Something Wicked This Way Comes on 35MM—because the circus never leaves quietly…

🎪 Saturday at Blobfest (7/11) = FULL CIRCUS MODE 🎪

From morning movies to late-night chaos, this is the day where Cirque du Blobfest truly takes over…

🎬 The 1902 Big Top
Spend the day under the tent with The Blob (1958) (multiple chances 👀), a rare 35mm screening of The Abominable Dr. Phibes with Victoria Price, and a can’t-miss second run-out at 7PM.
Then stick around for Killer Klowns from Outer Space on 35MM—because obviously.

🎥 The White Rabbit Tent
A little whimsy, a little weird: Dumbo, Big Fish, and Big Top Pee-wee bring the circus spirit to life all afternoon.

🎬 The Berry Tent
Get a taste of international cult chaos with La Masa Devoradora at 7PM.

🎺 Main & Bridge Stage
Parades, live music, magic, and the iconic costume contest—this is where the street comes alive all day long.
