Ravensgate will be closed May 1st in observance of the nationwide General Strike. We recognize that small businesses like ours aren’t necessarily the intended targets of such a strike, but shutting our doors on a busy Phoenixville First Friday grants the opportunity to raise awareness of the situation across the nation and highlights the need for further nationwide collective strikes against the economic superpower concentrated in the hands of an insidious few who seek to divide us and pit us against one another over fabricated culture wars and plates of crumbs while they collect astronomical piles of wealth generated off the backs of working class.
