Unpopular opinion (Cognitive diss..): Allen Iverson out here writing way better songs than 96.5% of local/underground artists .. (shrug) to be a rapper, you had to rap. And to claim “artist” (cause your raps weren’t top 10%) you had to be so far off the beaten path people didn’t even acknowledge you existed. But thats what it took to spark somthing new. That “different” + “familiar” + practice refining your skill to be a cut above the rest = what it took to stand out - where did that go?

Dear Engineers/people who have a recoding platform at home -

When properly running a session PLEASE LABEL YOUR TRACKS CORRECTLY -
I.e.. (if you have the track out) "Kick" - "Snare" etc..
(if no track outs) "instru" - Main" (or artist name) - "Main2" - "Dub" - "Dub2" - "Diddy" (Ad-libs) "HookMain" - "Hook L" - "Hook R" - "Harm 1,2,3" etc. ----

So when you get to the point you say "(explicit) I'm just gonna have Blaine Coffee mix it". When I open up the session it's not just total pandemonium -

And if your not sending a complete session - highlight all ACTIVE TRACKS - "consolidate regions" (if you've named the tracks, when you consolidate it will label the new regions after the tracks name I.e. "main" - "Main2") from 0:00 till the end of the track and export/render/bounce all tracks to a folder ("track title" track outs) then all I have to do is import audio regions to 0:00 and my job is 20x easier -
