When reflecting on Steven there’s infinite fond memories, but we wanted to share one that has always stuck with us:

While creating SVRPVNTLAB, the owners told us they had one of their DJ friends they wanted to add to our night. Reluctantly, we asked “who?” They said “oh he’s a great DJ that will fit in with you guys; he goes by Klü”

Our response: an instant “ABSOLUTELY YES PLEASE!!!”

Stories like this are a true testament to his impact, and how he was revered in our community. Anytime he was on a show, or just in the building, we weren’t happy to hear Klü…we were just excited to spend time with Steven.

On 8/20 please join us in celebration of Steven Hill’s life and legacy at Bar Smith, a place where we, and countless others were introduced to him. A GoFundMe covering medical and funeral cost is also available to anyone who would like to contribute.

We’re gonna miss you so much dude❤️
