Coming soon to the Wild Side Gallery, Scratchboard: The Beauty of Nature Revealed.

Debuting on September 3, this exciting new exhibit highlights the unique medium of scratchboard and how it is used to produce beautiful, detailed images of animals and nature.

Zoo members can get an early look at the new gallery at 7 a.m. on September 3.

The gallery will be open Tuesday - Sunday, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. through January 24, 2027.

New to the Wild Side Gallery: A History of the Phoenix Zoo

Featuring images that take you on a journey of the Zoo’s history since it opened more than 60 years ago. This pictorial history shares the Zoo’s progress through depictions of our construction, animals and people.
