Natural Henna + Indigo in naturally blonde virgin hair: The Experiment (Pt 4). I’ve done 2 applications of the mixtures in each chunk of hair for a bolder color. This is all natural henna and indigo powder, which is dried leaves directly from the plants, not box dye with metals and salts.
Always do your research before commiting to hair dye because henna naturally permanently binds to keratin so you can’t bleach it out.

Natural Henna & Indigo as hair dye for naturally blonde virgin hair: The Experiment (Pt 2). Here I make the indigo paste once the henna paste has already begun dye release. I portioned out 3 even chunks of blonde hair and smothered them in 1: just henna paste, 2: just indigo paste, and 3: an equal amount of henna and indigo. I will leave them at room temperature overnight for over 10 hours because there is no head heat to speed up the process. Henna hair results. (Products are on my website). I used my natural henna and natural indigo powders to test on some naturally Blonde virgin hair and left them overnight. These results are just after one application and they’re fresh meaning they have not yet oxidized. I’m going to continue with a 2nd application and then shampoo them multiple times to see how well they hold color.
