The Phoenix Theatre Company is the oldest arts institution in the State of Arizona and one of the oldest continuously operating arts organizations in the country. As an integral part of Arizona’s cultural landscape, Phoenix Theatre is the only professional theatre in the Valley that provides programming that spans all generations. Major Programs:
Mainstage (professional theatre for adult audiences

Summer Camp (inclusive summer theatre camp with trained teaching artists and accommodation specialists);
Festival of New American Theatre (offering staged readings of new works and workshops in performance and playwriting, annually);

Two young lovers, two meddling parents, and one fake feud designed to bring them together.

The Fantasticks is the longest-running musical in the world, 42 years off-Broadway, over 17,000 performances, and productions in more than 60 countries. Its score includes one of the most recorded songs in musical theatre history, "Try to Remember." It's a small show that tells an enormous story about young love, disillusionment, and finding your way back to something real.

Legally Blonde is based on the hit 2001 film starring Reese Witherspoon, with music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin and a book by Heather Hach. The original Broadway production earned seven Tony nominations and ten Drama Desk nominations, and won three Olivier Awards in London, including Best New Musical.
