Just keep trying! 💫

In Episode 84, Taylor Dulake, ELA tutor with Tutor Doctor Chandler Gilbert Ahwatukee, talks about something she sees all the time with students:

It’s not always that they don’t understand the material, they’re just afraid to be wrong.

And once that fear goes away, things start to click.

✨ Because confidence isn’t built by getting everything right…
it’s built by realizing it’s okay to try and not get it perfect.

➡️ Sometimes all a student needs is someone like Taylor, patient enough to create that space.

The hardest conversations are often the most important ones.

➡️ Because when we talk about it… we make space for understanding, support, and change.

✨ Through Kid in the Corner, Francine is helping build a kinder world—supporting youth, families, and communities while working to end the stigma around mental health.

The start of Kid in the Corner ✨

In Episode 83, Francine Sumner, founder of Kid in the Corner, shares why she started the organization.

After losing her youngest son, Zachary, to su***de, Francine took time to reflect on what had been missing.

From asking for help.
From being understood.

✨ Kid in the Corner was created to shatter the stigma around mental health- supporting youth, families, and communities through compassion and awareness.

And nearly a decade later, when asked if we’re moving the needle on “shattering the stigma,” her answer is a hopeful yes 💫
