NOW OPEN — Submit to our next Juried Theme Gallery Call for Entry now! ⁠

This gallery’s theme is Madness: Disruption, politics, change, the brave new world. Show us how you express this subject matter into something interesting through using light, composition and arrangement.⁠

Each member may submit up to 3 images that speak to the theme. Theme Gallery Entry Fee, per call: $25 for AZPA members, $50 non-members. ⁠
Patron members get one free Theme Gallery call per year; all calls are free for Benefactor members.⁠

Submissions will be juried by Peter Bugg, Fine Art Photographer & Operations Manager at Chandler Museum. The juror will select one image from each submitting member to appear in an online exhibition on the website. The juror will also choose a First Place and two Honorable Mentions for special recognition.⁠

The First-Place awardee will receive $100!⁠

Submission dates: May 25 – June 6⁠
Notifications to winners: June 15⁠
Exhibition opens online: June 15⁠

This gallery's theme is Madness: Disruption, politics, change, the brave new world. Show us how you express this subject matter into something interesting through using light, composition and arrangement.

Each member may submit up to 3 images that speak to the theme. Theme Gallery Entry Fee, per call: $25 for AZPA members, $50 non-members.

2 DAYS AWAY — Don't miss our upcoming AZPA event, "Cara Romero: Panûpünüwügai (Living Light) Gallery Talk with Emilia Mickevicius."

On Wednesday, May 6 from 6pm to 7:30pm at Phoenix Art Museum, AZPA Members will have the opportunity to meet and hear perspectives about the exhibition from the curator.

Organized by the Hood Museum of Art, Dartmouth College, "Cara Romero: Panûpünüwügai (Living Light)" is the first major solo exhibition exploring the narrative artistic practice of the Chemehuevi photographer and presents more than 50 works Romero created between 2013 and 2024. The exhibition features new and never-before-seen photographs, site-specific installations, large scale photographs, and iconic views across five thematic sections.

Pre-order your copy of "Threads of Light: A Collective Vision" by April 30!

This photobook is a collection of AZPA member photographers’ best works and images of AZPA collectors with chosen works. Both photographers and collectors were asked to provide a statement that supports the book’s theme.

Dimensions of the book are 10" x 10" with a hard cover, and the interior pages will be printed on a beautiful matte Finesse paper. The book is $75, and will be digitally printed in 4-color process at 378 dpi resulting in a very high-quality book.
