Southeast Submission Deadline is September 6!!! If you’re a poet, comedian or actor and you don’t have someone to collaborate with don’t worry, we will help you! Submit your audition video now!!!!!! CALLING ALL PHOENIX AREA SPOKEN ARTIST: POETS, ACTORS, STORYTELLERS & COMEDIANS!

Arizona’s 1st Annual Elevated: Premier Spoken Arts Competition. -Competitors are chosen vial online video submission.
-In each of the 5 Phoenix and surrounding area regions, 8-12 competitors will be selected to compete.
-The competition season consists of 5 qualifying competitions and 1 Championship. Prizes include hundreds in cash, services and gift cards designed to aid artist in their creative development.

1ST ROUND: Spoken art in its purity: Contestants will perform their spoken art using only a microphone

2ND ROUND: Spoken art elevated: Contestants will perform their spoken art as a multi genre piece. They must incorporate a different artistic genre such as dance, live painting or live music etc. Performances may be solo or with a group. May use minimal props and costumes

Judges: 2 professional artist from separate genres and audience vote via live voting app

The Elevated: Premier Spoken Arts Competition seeks to foster, recognize and promote the advancement of spoken arts through multi-genre integration. Where poetry, storytelling, monologue and stand-up comedy come to compete.
