Are you able to help save a life?
I've been anemic in the past, but have taken iron supplements under the guidance of a naturopathic doctor. Before that, I would usually be turned away from donating. Now, my blood is accepted!
The second pic is one of me that was used on a blood drive poster at my hospital a few years ago. Blood donation means a lot to me personally, because it saved my dad's life.

Time for a fast faceup! This gorgeous gal is getting brows and lashes by request of her owner/ adoptive parent/ gal pal. I use a light chalk pastel to lay a base for the basic shape of the brows, then give it detail in a few shades of colored pencil. I use Mr Super Clear first, to give the medium something to grab onto, then I spray between each layer of colored pencil work, and at the end. Five layers of sealant. I wonder why I run out so fast?

This weekend I had the pleasure of stitching a sweet Bitty Baby back together for a lovely young lady. She's had "Dora" for almost 10 years, and she is now 13. Dora arrived with a sweet note, and wrapped in a special personalized baby blanket.
I stitched up the rips along both and and the neckline, then used hand-dyed (with tea!) linen to secure and cover the stitched up torso. I embroidered a little bib to the neckline. What do you think? I like how she turned out!

The backdrop is designed with two of my black dresses from when I was 16 (which still fit, thank you!), a red dress from my early 20's, and a pearl necklace. I loved creating this school dance photo backdrop! Do they even do these anymore??
Scroll for pics of me in my prom dress! Actually, the first picture is me and my sister at a quincenera, then two head shots of me in my Breakfast at Tiffany's prom look. The only full length pics I found also included the guy I went with (just a friend!), so you'll have to imagine the rest of the dress. Prom was almost 20 years ago!!!!! Agh!!!! May 2000. We were married in Red Rock State Park in Sedona with immediate family only, and had our big reception a week later at a German restaurant. That's why I'm pictured with 2 different hair styles!

Brooklyn and Joss would be disappointed to miss out in cheer practice due to social distancing.
What are you disappointed to miss out on? I miss my church groups. I'm a member of our MOMS group, my husband and I participate in Married People, my kindergartener goes to Grace Notes Choir and Ignite (Sunday school), and our toddler LOVES going to the nursery to play! Our church has some of the best outreach programs I've experienced since my youth.
They have also created a lot of great online content for adults and kids, plus they gave out Bibles for kids last week, and this week there are books for adults as well (drive through pick up).
