2020 and 2021 were certainly groundbreaking and successful years for LaVelle Powell in the world of movies. 🙏🏾❤️

2020 saw the successful short film AWAKEN not only accepted into several highly recognized Film Festivals across the Country and the World, but winning "Best Film" in many of them.

2021, as many of you know, was equally special with LaVelle's recent Nomination for a Hollywood and African Prestigious Award for Best Composer (HAPAWARD) for his work on the Crime Saga GUNS AND GRAMS as well as the two subsequent wins 🏆🏆 that the GUNS AND GRAMS film would garner, including Best Director Larry Derr .

LaVelle is both humbled and thankful for the increasing success and looks forward to beginning work on the highly anticipated sequel to GUNS AND GRAMS, which is presently scheduled to begin filming in January of 2022. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
