Senior Spotlight: Reagan✨

This past weekend, we celebrated our lovely seniors at recital☺️

Reagan says: “l love dance because it has brought nothing but joy to my life. Dance has given me confidence, discipline, and passion that I will carry with me through life. Through dance, I have met my best friends, shared memories that will last a lifetime, and gained a second family that I will always go back to. Thank you to Ms. Rendee and all of my teachers for always having the faith and love to keep pushing me to chase my dreams. I love you AZDD!!!”
After high school, she plans on attending Texas Christian University (TCU), majoring in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology, on the track to become a physical therapist.

Senior Spotlight: Annika✨

This past weekend, we celebrated our lovely seniors at recital☺️

Annika loves dance because of the artistry. It is the place where athletics and emotion intersect. It is always asking more for you, pushing you to become a better version of yourself. After high school, she is going to Northwestern University to study Theater and English.

We are all so proud of you, Annika, and can’t wait to watch you in your next chapter!🧡

✨ RECITAL COUNTDOWN IS ON ✨

Can you believe recital is only 2 weeks away?! We are SO excited to see all of our dancers shine on stage and celebrate all of their hard work this season 💗🧡

A few important reminders:
• Please make sure you’re practicing your dances at home
• Double check that you have ALL costume pieces ready to go
• All recital information can now be found on our website under the “Recital” page

Recital is such a special part of our season — it’s where dancers get to showcase their growth, perform with confidence, and celebrate everything they’ve accomplished. It builds confidence, teaches teamwork, strengthens goal setting, develops important life and dance skills, and creates memories and friendships that last far beyond the stage.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you in just TWO weeks!! Let’s go on a vacation together!🛫🏝️🗺️

Tomorrow is audition day for our 2026–2027 Competition Companies at AZ Dance District — and if your dancer has been even thinking about competing, this is your sign to come try it. 🤍

Our competition teams are about so much more than trophies. They build confidence, discipline, friendships, accountability, work ethic, performance quality, and memories dancers carry for years. These teams become a second family — a place where dancers are challenged, supported, and pushed to become the best version of themselves both on and off the stage.

A fun and encouraging intro to competition for young dancers ready to begin their team journey!

✨ ALL STARS
For dancers wanting more training, performance opportunities, and competitive experience while continuing to grow their confidence and versatility.

$35 before May 1 | $50 after

Saturday, May 16th

Squad (ages 4–6): 10:00–11:00 AM
All Stars & Crew (ages 7–11): 12:30–2:00 PM
All Stars & Crew (ages 12–18): 2:30–4:00 PM

Squad: no form required
All Stars & Crew: forms must be turned by auditions

Dress code: all black, fitted dancewear
Hair: neat + pulled back
Shoes: bring preferred jazz technique shoes

Teams are a great way for students to unlock their potential through dance. All of our teams now fall under our “Company” umbrella. We are introducing our All Stars Company this season, where dancers can get an introduction to competition! Swipe to see which team might be the best fit for your dancer!

🧡Squad Competitive Company (ages 4-6)
🧡Crew Competitive Company (ages 7-18)

You can now register for Auditions (Squad, All Stars, & Crew) or make your deposit (Stars) to commit for next season through your parent portal! Get a discount if you register before May 1st! There will also be a Teams Parent Q&A on Monday, April 27th from 7:30-8:30pm for those interested. Happy dancing🤗
