Been seeing a lot of negative posts from bands lately (mostly Tempe-based, I'm sorry to say) about 1st Fridays/Roosevelt Row. It seems they think that by putting down the Phoenix scene, it's going to bring more people to their shows. I would argue that Tempe needs Phoenix just like Phoenix needs Tempe. I hope that the Roosevelt Row venues take note of this and think twice before booking these bands in the future.
