Thank you everyone that visited the Mountain Artists Guild, Inc. gallery during Studio Tours. I enjoyed sharing my art and talking about my process with you.

The next big event is the Mountain Artists Guild fall fund raiser, November 8th, (details attached). You can get tickets by going to the guild’s website: mountainartistsguild.org.

As part of the auction, one of my horses “Penny” will be available to bid on along with a visit to my Prescott studio, where you can make either a found object or tissue paper collage jar. All materials, lunch and w**e will be provided. My studio is small, so there is only room for three people. There are many more amazing auction items so buy your ticket soon, they are going fast. October is a busy month. Studio Tours just ended, but my exhibit will be up at the Mountain Artists Guild, Inc. until October 17. I’ve also had 5 pieces accepted at the Phippen Museum in Prescott. Tis Art Center & Gallery is having its Fall Swoop Event October 17 th which supports free art classes for children. Go to their website for more information, tissartgallery.com. Each entree fee comes with a number that is randomly drawn upon arrival. During the event, numbers will be called and the person with that number gets to select one piece of art from the Swoop exhibit. I’ve donated the 12”x12” mixed media piece below. The entree fee is only $30 and you get to take home a piece of art!

Hi, I’ve been putting the finishing touches on my upcoming Spotlight Room exhibition at the Mountain Artists Guild Gallery in Prescott, AZ, (228 N. Alarcon St.) August 19th - October 17th. I just finished the centerpiece piece of the exhibit, a horse named Goldilocks. She is 40” tall and 32” wide, teal blue and gold. Penny, a light blue horse; Josie, a comic book collage horse and Pinky a pink, silver and blue horse will also be part of the exhibit. A reminder that on the 4th Friday of every month the gallery is open from 5-7 for Prescott Art Walk. There is food, w**e and music and it’s a great time to meet artists. I hope you can stop by.
