Subject: A Special Note Regarding PMD Studios – New Beginnings
Dear Clients,
I am writing to share an important update regarding PMD Studios. After 12 incredible years serving this community, I have made the decision to sell the studio.
As I reflect on this journey, I am filled with gratitude for the relationships, creativity, and trust that have defined these past years. What began as a vision for a recording studio in Phoenix grew into something far more meaningful because of each of you. It has been a privilege to be part of your music, your stories, your late-night sessions, and your breakthroughs. Together, we built more than recordings—we built a community and lasting memories that I will always value.
While this transition is bittersweet, I am confident and excited about what comes next.
I am pleased to introduce Jason Roedl of RoedJam Records as the new owner of PMD Studios. Jason brings more than 30 years of experience across live events, touring, production, and business operations, along with a deep, personal connection to the creative process. As both an operator and a musician, he has been involved in projects such as Mergence and The Deadbeat Cousins, giving him firsthand insight into the artist experience—from writing and recording to production and performance.
Throughout his career, Jason has managed international tours, led large-scale productions, and developed immersive entertainment experiences. His approach blends creativity with execution—building environments where artists, producers, and creators can do their best work. Through RoedJam Records, he is focused on continuing to evolve the studio into a space where sound, content, and culture can thrive.
The transition will officially take place on April 1, 2026. You can expect continuity in day-to-day operations, with the same commitment to quality, creativity, and service you have come to know.
Thank you for being such an important part of my life and of PMD Studios. Your support has meant more than I can fully express, and I am truly grateful to have been part of your journey.
With sincere appreciation,
Randy L. Smith
