Graduating from Greenway High School, Kaylei Mickelson is a determined and hardworking multi-sport athlete. Along with dancing for 15 years, she also dedicated her time throughout high school to swim team, dance line, softball, track, and has also assisted in several classes at The Dance Shoppe. Her ability to balance so many activities is a true reflection of her commitment, perseverance, and strong work ethic.

This same determination will undoubtedly carry her through the next exciting chapter as she begins her nursing studies at Northern Arizona University this fall. Congratulations, Kaylei! We can’t wait to see all the amazing things your future holds and watch the next chapter unfold.

From stage to sky, Juliah Schrody is graduating from Arizona Connections Academy and is on her way to Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott this fall. She plans to major in Aeronautics and minor in Air Traffic Control.

Before focusing primarily on dance, she participated in gymnastics for five years. Since then, she has danced for 15 years and has been a member of our Performance Company for four years. Her dedication and determination have always stood out and will continue to do so.

Juliah rounded out her senior year by teaching jazz and tumbling at The Dance Shoppe, bringing her skills from the gymnastics world into the dance world. Congratulations, Juliah! We can’t wait to see the places you’ll go!

Ava Laurence started dancing at The Dance Shoppe when she was about 3 years old. Her very first teacher was Miss Jess, and now, years later, one of her final teachers is also Miss Jess. A full-circle moment that makes her journey even more special. Over the years, we have had the privilege of watching Ava grow not only as a dancer, but also as a confident and hardworking young lady.

Along with dancing at The Dance Shoppe, Ava was also involved in dance at Thunderbird High School. Her dedication extended beyond the studio as well, spending five years playing basketball and four years in golf.

This fall, Ava will attend Arizona State University to study kinesiology. Congratulations, Ava! We can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do next!
