Hey guys I’ve been having an issue with perms fully taking in random areas this one was the very top!
This client I used 2 boxes to make sure it was well saturated rinsed for over 5 min… put under a dryer before neutralizing… the top still didn’t take… she waited almost 3 days to wet or wash.

In the past I was doing option by joico perms but had switched to kpak but had even worse results! When i ordered perms again i went back to Joico.
I feel like I’m at a loss when I’ve been doing perms and it only seems to be the last 6 months and I haven’t changed anything other than perm brands just now in over 10 years!!

Hi, so im a small business providing mobile hair extension services..
Had a client on tuesday for full head of highlights and nano rings.
It turned out she needed a full colour correction and trim, her hair was fried and so uneven and damaged.
I corrected this and used an ashy toner and her hair looked much better, I then fitted her extensions and she said she was happy.
Follow through to the next day, shes accused me of not using the extensions I said I would, shes said her hair is purple??
And is threatening to slate me all over the Internet unless I give her £415 back.
I explained her hair is not purple, she said she wants it platinum but I explained at appointment this would take a few weeks as her hair was so damaged..
I offered to come and have a look so she can fully explain what she wants me to do and we can work together to achieve that result over time.
No resolutions were good enough for her and just continued to threaten me and demand a full refund.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated ive never had this before🙃

My ring upgrade finally arrived and I am completely in love!

I actually haven’t worn a wedding ring in years because my first ring was the wrong size, and over time I also realized rose gold just wasn’t really my style anymore. I always felt a little sad that I wasn’t wearing a ring daily, but it just never felt quite right.

This new one feels so much more like me. It’s classic, timeless, and exactly the kind of ring I can see myself wearing every day.

I’m so happy with this upgrade and honestly can’t stop staring at it 🥹💍

How does a 2-carat ring look smaller every time I look at it? 😅💍

When I first saw it, I thought it looked massive. Like, “wow, that is definitely a big ring” massive.

But now every time I check it out, I swear it somehow looks smaller than the last time. I don’t know if I’m just getting used to it, becoming picky, or if diamond shrinkage syndrome is actually real lol.

I still love it, but it’s funny how quickly your eyes adjust once you’ve stared at your own ring a thousand times.

What carat size did you all end up choosing, and did yours start looking smaller over time too? 💍✨

Ladies … What are some things I can recommend my client for hair growth. If anything She’s tried biotin vitamins and hair skin and nail vitamins. She uses good shampoos , no heat and no medication that would really effect her. Seems like it has gotten worse over time.

My fiancé — still can’t believe I get to say that — took me to Malta and proposed after the most wonderful holiday.

It’s a 1.8ct lab diamond on a size 3 finger, and it still doesn’t feel real yet. I feel so lucky, so loved, and so grateful that I finally found the right person.

I’m hoping we like solitaires here, because I’m completely in love with mine. Everyone has such unique and beautiful rings, and I’m so happy I finally get to share mine too. ♥️

Inherited these two rings — could either work as an engagement ring?

I recently inherited two rings from my grandmother and would love some honest opinions. She had a beautiful, successful 68-year marriage, which makes the pieces feel really meaningful to me, even though neither one was her actual engagement or wedding ring.

I know people have different feelings about receiving handed-down rings, and I’ve never talked with my partner about using an inherited ring because I didn’t expect my grandmother to pass so unexpectedly.

Purchased at Tiffany’s on the way to the hospital to have me: my mom’s 3.3ct heart-cut heirloom 🤍

I know this is a bit of an unconventional post, but I wanted to share something incredibly special to me.

This is my late mother’s engagement ring, and it holds such a deep place in my heart. My parents actually purchased it at Tiffany’s on the way to the hospital to have me, which makes the story behind it feel almost unreal. I grew up seeing this ring on her hand every day, and now I wear it on my right hand so I can keep her memory close.

It’s a 3.3ct heart-cut diamond, and while I know heart cuts aren’t always the most popular choice, I’ve always found this elongated shape so elegant and timeless. To me, it feels romantic, bold, and full of character.

Wearing it now feels like carrying a piece of my mom and my family history with me. It’s more than a ring — it’s a memory, a love story, and a connection to her that I get to hold onto every day 🤍💍
