Every boy who walks into rehearsal deserves the chance to find out how far his voice can carry. 🎶

That mission just got a real boost. The Phoenix Boys Choir is proud to be among the Arizona organizations receiving support from the Arizona Commission on the Arts — part of a historic $2.66 million the state is investing in arts and culture this year.

To the Arizona Commission on the Arts: thank you for standing behind Arizona’s youth and the belief that every kid deserves a place to grow through music. We’re grateful, and we’re getting to work.

Are they SHARP or what? 👔

When a young man puts on the Phoenix Boys Choir uniform, something shifts. His shoulders go back. His chin lifts. He carries himself a little differently — because he knows he's part of something bigger than himself.

The uniform isn't just about looking polished (though they absolutely do). It's a reminder of the standard we hold and the excellence we're reaching for together. It teaches discipline before a single note is sung. It says: you represent this choir, this tradition, and each other.

That sense of pride and belonging is exactly what sets the tone for these boys to succeed — on the stage and long after they leave it.

We couldn't be prouder of these young men. 🎶

Join us for the 5th annual "Spooktober Family Fall Festival" presented by the Phoenix Boys Choir & Phoenix Girls Chorus! Carnival games, a costume contest, food trucks, a PG haunted house and a most spooky performance by PBC and PGC's youngest choirs await all those brave enough to have a scary good time! 🎵🎃👻

Our August Chorister Champion is Tour Choir singer, Ezra!

“Ezra is very intentional about his connections with his peers, going above and beyond to lead with kindness, compassion and support. He’s the first to give a high five and always works to bring those he works with up using words of affrimations and compliments. He truly embodies the part of the PBC mantra about being a friend to all.” - Mr. Washington

The Chorister Champion is a monthly award that is given to 1 chorister from the Phoenix Boys Choir who perfectly exemplifies values of character and musicianship, and in case you were wondering - the belt is 100% the real deal!

Submissions are closed and the countdown has begun! On September 15th the Phoenix Boys Choir will announce the winners of our 5th Annual New Works Rising Choral Composition Competition!

We’re delighted to introduce Andy Beck, accomplished composer, arranger, and Director of Choral Publications at Alfred Music as one of this season’s celebrated panelists.

Physically we're all at work, but mentally we're still absolutely gushing over Tour Choir's hauntingly beautiful performance of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" from our Classics Concert this past Spring. The Tour Choir is PBC's highly selective and competitive ensemble performing everything from masterworks, to new choral compositions from our New Works Rising Competition to absolutely stunning classics such as this one!
