Ronin Theatre Collaborative are thrilled to announce the world premiere of "MEGALODON" this July 30th at the Irish Cultural Center & MCClelland Library in downtown Phoenix.

Written by award winning scribe, Nicholas Walker Herbert, "MEGALODON" will be helmed by SPACE 55's Artistic Director and long time Ronin Collaborator, BJ Garrett. They have assembled a crack team of players to bring this thrilling mystery to the surface.

"Cass, a marine-biologist, had a close encounter with a monster, but no one believes her. Hannah is looking for her missing brother Vogan, but no one will help her. And Vogan – just wants to know he exists."

The show will swim over to the Main Street Creative Arts Center for the final stretch of their tour, August 7th through August 23rd. Overlapping with Ronin's revival of "THE SEAGULL" their Beast Mode Summer has officially begun!

Don't call it the Beast Wars, we don't own the rights...Ronin Theatre Collaborative's Beast Mode Summer is upon us!

To one side, nests Anton Chekhov's "THE SEAGULL" ready to take our crowds to newer heights of theatrical delights at the Main Street Creative Arts Center on July 10th.

In the other corner, we have the lords of the waves, "MEGALODON" by Nicholas Walker Herbert. Ready to pull our audiences ever deeper into our mysteries the Irish Cultural Center & McClelland Library on July 30th.

"The Seagull" will begin their run at the Main Street Creative Arts Center in Mesa, from July 10th to July 19th. After a brief hibernation, the production will migrate to Flagstaff Shakespeare Festival from August 14th to August 15th.

Ronin Theatre Collaborative returns this summer with a playfully meta revival of the Russian Theatre Classic, "The Seagull" by Anton Chekhov.

Love, Art, and Mayhem ensue in the Russian countryside as one generation of artists struggles against another, mostly to be taken seriously in spite of themselves. Director, Cody Goulder, is shaking things up with a framing device worthy of a Christopher Guest picture. A summer stock theatre company is performing their iteration of "The Seagull" but where the play ends and backstage drama begins is anyone's guess. This is the latest work in Ronin Theatre Collaborative's 2026 Season of play, which per Goulder pertains to "The games we play with others, the way we play ourselves, and the fun of live experimental theatre all rolled into one."
