We’re teaming up with to host a USCF-rated blitz tournament in Surprise, AZ! Join us for a day of fast-paced games, new friends, and serious fun.

♟️ National Chess Day is nearly upon us!
Join us Saturday, October 11th from 1–4 PM at Rise Over Run in Sunnyslope for an afternoon of chess, community, and fun.

✨ All ages + all skill levels welcome — whether you’ve never touched a board, you’re a casual player, or you’re chasing 2000 ELO, this day is for you. Don’t know the rules yet? We’ll teach you!

🎥 We’ll also be streaming chess media — from top livestreamers to legendary games — so there’s something to enjoy between matches.

🍪 Snacks provided. Bring your own beverages or grab coffee + treats across the street at Beal Beans.
💸 Free event. No experience needed. Just come play!

Enjoy a vintage market by , good music, and crêpes + euro snacks by our friends between your wins, losses, and draws!! !!

Tuesdays at The Theodore, now weekly 😎🍻

Come play some casual games, work on your tactics (anyone else keep falling for knight forks?), and have a good time among some amazing beer, wine, and NA selections of course.

In collab w/ & we are stoked to have chess club every Friday at their Pickle n’ Plunge event!!

You’ll never have to sit at home, figure out plans, or make unhealthy choices to fit in on the weekends.

What to expect:

🥒Street Style Pickleball (All Levels)
🧊Cold Plunge
🎵DJ Set
🥩Grills (BYOM - Bring your own meat)

Come hang out with the squad, bring your food ready to eat, or grill with us and make meaningful connections. We will have some of the valley’s most influential community leaders.
Bring a towel and a change of clothes if you want to play both pickleball and plunge.

🛎️ Quick announcement!! Our beloved meetup .records is on pause while they complete renovations. We are so excited to enjoy the new space when they reopen.

In the meantime, there is no meetup scheduled for 2nd + 4th Wednesdays.
