Over and over. My entire career I’ve played sets 60-120 min and got comfortable with that. These longer sets are allowing me to grow as an artist and evolve in a way I never have before. First ever open to close this Friday at Audio in San Francisco. To say I’m comfortable about it would be a lie, but there’s only one way to grow and only one way to get comfortable with it. See yourself as high as you can possibly see yourself. Who do you see yourself as? And there’s no right or wrong answer. Just clarify and define yourself in the highest possible way your vision for yourself in the highest possible way than you can see it. Be delusional about it even. To the point where you take your mind to the apex of what your mind believes is possible. Then push past that even if it’s just a little bit. Then you’ve gotta believe it. See it all the time, envision it, and really really believe it

Little did I know nearly ten years later when I found myself as an artist for the second time, he’d be the one who would support the music I found to love. It’s not everyday you get to work with people you really enjoy more than just the artists themselves.
