Shandaken Skatepark Project creator turns 17 today and to celebrate his birthday he released his new single “Please Stay “, co- written and produced with another uber talented local lad . Edrick suffered a bad ankle injury in June shortly after landing his first fakie tailspin on the half pipe in Pine Hill . He’s been out of action all season while he rehabilitates his ankle which has proved a slow process due to a previous injury in the same spot but the silver lining is Edrick has thrown himself wholeheartedly into creating music . Edrick expects to be back at the skatepark next season but in the meantime enjoy “Please Stay “. Happy Holidays from the Shandaken Shredders and a huge shoutout of appreciation to everyone for your continued support for the skatepark

Don’t miss storyteller & this Sunday Nov 16 , 4pm at . Bex will perform her original story “The Magic of the Moon” with local musical legend Marc Delgado on guitar . Entry by donation to support Shandaken Skatepark Project whose mission is to build a state of the art all concrete skatepark for the youth of Shandaken and surrounding areas.

Shandaken Skatepark Project is proud to endorse Babs Mansfield to be our next Town of Shandaken Supervisor. Babs will bring a breath of fresh air to the position, offering a lifetime of experience as a leader in the not for profit world and all round great person and friend to Shandaken Parks . Her Hudson Valley Foundation for Youth Health was an early contributor to the skatepark and she was instrumental in facilitating hundreds of thousands of dollars in state grants for Glenbrook Park improvements .
