to the poster for the FIRST rodeo in 1929. It wasn't called Kansas Biggest Rodeo yet; by 1931, that name was in use.
In 1930, the rodeo was moved to August, to fall between the roundups in Cheyenne and Burwell, so cowboys would be in the area and available to compete.
There's been a lot of changes in the last 97 years!
