It is with great sadness that we announce the death of beloved husband, father, and friend Michael Vagnoni. Michael passed away November 1, 2021 after suffering a massive heart attack on October 19, 2021. Michael was the owner, publishing editor of Out On The Town Entertainment Guide.

Michael L. Vagnoni, 72, of Palmyra, NJ, passed away on November 1, 2021. Devoted husband to Barbara Vagnoni (nee Hansen) for 41 years. Dear father to Michelle Minko (Jay), Jon- Michael Vagnoni (Kristina), Alyssa Hornung (Justin) and Jessica Baker (Andrew). Loving grandfather to Zachary, Ryan, Madeline and Dean. Brother to James Hansen. Son to the late Louis and Mary Vagnoni.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Monday, November 8th at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, from 8:30am- 10:30am. Mike’s funeral mass will follow at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Church in Riverton, NJ, corners of 4th and Linden. Masks will be required at the funeral home and church.
For over 40 plus years Michael Vagnoni was in the marketing advertising, and public relations business with his unique professional entertainment network called Out On The Town Entertainment Guide. Michael was no stranger to the Entertainment Business. He started out with his own band Modern Image back in 1972 and worked full time until 1980 in area restaurants and night spots in the Philadelphia and South Jersey areas. Mike was a singer, guitar player, and song writer. He created the Out On The Town Entertainment Guide for working bands and bar owners and for bar regulars in 1979 since there was a void in this area. This was the focus of his marketing skills that made his Out On The Town Entertainment Guide the #1 Source for local area Entertainment News for over 40 years. The OOT GUIDE was distributed in over 350 nightclubs, restaurants, bars and Casinos In Pa and NJ. Mike became the Promotions Director for Philly World Records back in 1982, this major record label was distributed by Atlantic Records….Over the years, he developed the OOT TV NETWORK for 25 years on Broadcast and Cable TV with Comcast / Xfinity and Suburban Cable and also worked with broadcasting networks TV 48 in Philadelphia, and TV 61. He produced TV Specials for the TRUMP PLAZA in Atlantic City and also for DOVER DOWNS CASION SLOTS in Dover Delaware. Mike produced over 85 1/2 hour Entertainment shows He’s worked with Dick Clark to David Clayton Thomas from Blood Sweat & Tears to the fabulous Duprees. Mike Created the OOT TV "HOT SPOTS segment for Television Stations 3, 6, and 10 in Philadelphia Mike also was on live radio for over 10 years each week as a program host and producer. He was heard on KROCK and WNWR, a 50,000 watt radio station in Bala Cynwyd Pa., and Oldies 94 in Philadelphia. Mike’s shows were all about local music and covered the major Philadelphia and South Jersey artist from the 50’s, 60′, 70’s & 80’s. Mike’s Out On The Town Entertainment Guide was up and running for the last 15 years placing the OOT all over the Internet at OOTonline.com. and focus promotions with social media. Mike also had been the Entertainment Director for Chickie’s and Pete’s for the last 6 years. Mike had a vast knowledge about entertainment from his years as a player and also knew the marketing end of the business. Mike was dedicated to the music industry and had so much passion and drive. If you were in the music or entertainment business, there was no better friend to have then Mike.
