I have worked in churches and temples as well. Am particularily familiar with all the various forms of worship in the Episcopal/Anglican church. While living in NYC I had a church agent who would send me out to work wherever I was needed. It was a great experience.

Dear Friends, It's been 10 years since Aurora Classical, www.auroraclassical.org , started it's work of supporting free lance musicians and low income community members through presenting a free of charge Classical Open Mic, presenting artists in concerts, since 2020 helped community members to fight food insecurity, and since 2021 an annual 9/11 remembrance program.

If you have EVER felt this was all a good idea, that you wanted to come to an event or donate. NOW IS THE TIME. We provide services to Philadelphians in our own essential boutique way. Those we serve are so very grateful and without us their lives would be diminished. This month alone we had a grocery pop up, a 9/11 memorial, yesterday we had a very successful Classical Open Mic Matinee and September 27th we are presenting a unique Fringe show called "Dystopia, Gilbert and Sullivan Style". Which looks at the events of today through he hilarious political satire of over a hundred years ago proving that the more things change the more they say the same. Laughter right now is very important. Music, GOOD MUSIC, is very important.

Please give to support our mission, come see our programs and engage on our social media pages aurora classical both here and on instagram.
