Hello everyone,

We have some big and unfortunate news to share from The N Crowd.

Sawubona Creativity Project, which has been our home for the past three and a half years, will unfortunately be closing its doors. As a result, our final performance at Sawubona will take place on Friday, November 13 at 8:30 PM.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Sawubona, and especially to Tonya and Tim, for providing such a wonderful space for us to perform as we returned to weekly shows after the pandemic. We've truly loved being part of your Friday nights, and we're incredibly grateful for all the support, encouragement, and friendship you've shown us over the years.

So, what does this mean for The N Crowd?

That's a great question.

The good news is that we're already looking ahead. As our residency at Sawubona comes to an end, we're actively searching for a new home and exploring a different approach to our performances. Our goal is to secure three- to four-week runs at venues across Philadelphia, allowing us to bring The N Crowd experience to different neighborhoods throughout the city.

Ideally, we'll perform at the same venue every Friday for a month, then move to a new location the following month. We're excited about the possibilities and look forward to sharing this new chapter with all of you.

How can I stay up to date with The N Crowd?

Easy! To find out where we'll be performing next, be sure to follow us through:

Our website
Facebook and Facebook Events
Our mailing list

(Links will be in the comments since Facebook doesn't actually support the arts)

We'll do our best to keep everyone informed as plans come together, and we can't wait to take you along on this adventure.

In the meantime, we still have several weeks left at Sawubona. Come by, catch a show, and share some laughs with us before we say goodbye to a venue that has meant so much to our troupe.

Thank you for all your support, and we'll see you on Friday night!

What happens when the audience gets to decide what comes next? 🤔

Tomorrow night, we're finding out.

Every scene, character, relationship, and ridiculous twist is inspired by suggestions from the crowd, which means nobody knows what's coming next, including us. That's what makes it so much fun. One audience suggestion can turn into a hilarious story you'll be talking about long after the show ends. No scripts. No safety net. Just fast-paced improv comedy created on the spot.

As part of the Philly Fringe Festival, we're bringing 75 minutes of completely original comedy to South Philly, and this particular show will only happen once. Miss it, and it's gone forever.
