Chimera Publishing buys, sells and publishes Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror art and books. In the 1990s, they began publishing art prints for Brian Froud.

Chimera Publishing was created in 1975 when Norm Hood opened a used bookstore in Farmington, CT called Mostly Books. Norm then branched out into publishing Science Fiction and Fantasy Art prints for artists like Don Maitz and Rowena. Leta Davis joined the business in 1983, and they were later married in 1985. Chimera Publishing published its first art book in 2003 and have since published 5 others
