How can you tell if you're a victim of emotional abuse? Consider the following indicators:

• Experiencing humiliation and ridicule
• Being called derogatory names
• Receiving patronizing remarks
• Enduring public embarrassment, including on social media
• Facing “jokes” at your expense, with your feelings dismissed as being
overly sensitive
• Having your achievements belittled
• Receiving insults about your appearance
