In Celebrating Philadelphia's Black Dance Legacies, writer Caitlin Green reflects on the Philadelphia Black Dance Mural Project and the artists, educators, and cultural leaders whose work has shaped generations of dance in the city.

Featuring figures whose contributions helped define Philadelphia's dance landscape, the project asks audiences to consider the power of recognition and the importance of documenting histories that have too often been overlooked.
