Just had a great time teaching the j.hampton moore school this morning with !

They also weren't afraid to show us how much of a great time they had by gifting us this gem "When the beat was born" a book about DJ Kool Herc and the creation of hip hop.

I'm beyond honored and looking forward to working with such great dancers and students again!

Its been quite a while since I've posted pics on this page out of a pure egotistical pursuit of perfectionism. But I really just want to highlight the progress of all my peers on this day. Breeze capturing the first photo sharpening his eye for a good scene while tuning in deeper into the culture of breaking and honing his craft with as much definition as his photography, while my brother wiz my roommate and my best friend has progressed through all trauma and roadblocks in his path with the Tenacity of 1000 rampaging bulls and without a single complaint and the calmness of 1000 hummingbirds as he deals with the trauma of those around him with the same love he gives to himself if not more so. While also progressing in his pursuit of happiness and in his pursuit to be a great breaker and a man of many disciplines. On the other note my boy brief, welcoming everyone as he is welcomed back from Florida with grand plans ideals and real moves aligning separate cultures and districts together for a common goal of uplifting his closest community. And last but not least we have the grand master himself as shown in the first pic. Being there for the scene like a first aid kit in a restaurant, constantly restocked with the goods that may burn when first applied but in reality hold your wounds together so it may heal and be stronger after the damage has been dealt. Box has been the realist I've never knew I needed but as all good things come, we seldom see there worth until they are far removed from our current reality. I see the beauty and the love in all of my friends and if I've forgotten to put you in this post know that it isn't all about you. It's about the people that are there in the moments you need them most. It's about the people that show up. And it's about knowing this won't be my last appreciation post because I have so many people in my life to thank just for being alive today that might never even see them. My blood brother who reminds me the real value of family my o.gs like ,, and who remind me family is what you make of it as well as your life choices to grow with your family or without. They will be there.
