We’re celebrating 7 years of Siren Pack shows! 🧜‍♀️ 🤎😈 Aye! 🍾 🥂

We debuted our very 1st show in March 2019 at . Siren Pack started with an email to an “inner circle” of creatives that ShayAuLait knew of. (swipe to see the receipts).
Since then, we’ve been creating signature avant garde burlesque, ritual, variety and kink-forward experiences that linger long after the lights go up. From NYC to Baltimore, Philly to Jersey, we’ve spent 7 years exploring the edges of pleasure & play.

This March, we celebrate our 7th Anniversary with the return of YUMMY to Brooklyn at Mi Casa. 🍪

If our February Baltimore residency launch at was the ignition, Brooklyn is the return to form. Sharper edges. Deeper experiences. Seven years of intention behind every movement.

Join the Pack. Explore your edges. Linger in the pleasure. And then eat our cookies.

🍪 ACTUAL cookies. (We serve chocolate chip cookies at the end of our show.)

YUMMY BK, the anniversary show features and with a few more surprises. 👀 will also be vending! 💨 The range of their products is so YUMMY!!!

Thank you to our production & show sponsors:

Psst: if you’ve performed in our shows before & you wanna come celebrate our anniversary in Brooklyn, DM us and we will send you a code for a comp ticket. As we’ve hired over 250+ performers in 7 years, we can’t accommodate everyone. But we do have standing room tickets & we will comp up to 10 past performers so they can enjoy the show. Is that you? 👀

Also VIP tickets have been sold out for weeks. Industry tickets have all been claimed but we do have a few more Open seating tickets left. 💋

“When you pick a location, you pick power.
Every(body) Wants to Be a Showgirl is not in a ballroom.
It is not in a black box theater with grant money and velvet curtains.
It is not above ground.
It is beneath Washington, DC.

Dupont Underground – a repurposed trolley station with concrete walls that remember trains. Fifteen thousand square feet of industrial tunnel. The kind of place that federal museums would call ‘raw.’ Raw is accurate.” - Read More on Substack or Swipe for some Highlights.

“Everybody Wants To Be A Showgirl Until It’s Time To Credit The Source” written by as a guest article on website.

We’ve known about this particular article in the series since last month as we reviewed the final draft and we are excited to share even more.

We went further than yesterday’s post and are sharing 20 slides and it’s still not even the whole article. Go read it!

“Preservation is a practice and an infrastructure built through documentation, naming, and continuity. It is not passive. It is something we maintain in real time.”

“This exhibition is a structural rupture in burlesque history.”

“I participate in this exhibition as:

- Exhibiting Artist
- Liaison Team: Marketing & Communications Strategist
- Community Partner: As Founder of Siren Pack

Not because I want proximity to visibility. But because I believe in building a record while we are still here to shape it.

Everybody wants to be a showgirl.
But preservation?
Credit?
Infrastructure?
Economic sustainability?
That takes work.
And this exhibition is doing that work - right now.“
