We turned 10! And we are throwing a big party/fundraiser celebration which will take place this Saturday, September 16th, 6-10pm at the Atelier Gallery in Brewerytown. Tickets are $10. Fjord is excited to announce an upcoming solo show with artist Petra Floyd ! Opening on 3/11 from 6-9pm, Petra’s immersive installation ‘BEFORE THE DJ WAS SOUND, AND SHE PLAYED IT’ act as explicit invitations to experience sound and movement as inherited technologies for orienting oneself in unknowable space/times.
We look forward to seeing you at the opening and sharing more information about Petra’s work throughout the month.

Hi! This is one of the participating artist in the current show “Uncertain Threshold” here to show some photos of my included work and talk a little bit about my process!

Im currently based in Philly and just completed a residency where I made some of the work included in the show. All my work is done / cut by hand, including every piece from the carpet, tile floor, fence, etc. Repetitive work is really important to my process and conceptual ideas around my art. I make work to honor and navigate the dense histories of my family and tell stories through our lived experiences.

Thanks so much to for having me and giving me the chance to show this body of work! 💓

Fjord is thrilled to announce Uncertain Threshold featuring work by Bradley Marshall and Lucia Garzón, the winners from our recent two person show open call!

We were so impressed by all the work that we saw from the open call and we are grateful for those of you who applied.

More information and detail to come as we get the show up and installed, we are so excited to share these two artists with our community and see their work interact in the gallery. We hope that you will come and see it!
