Hi gang,
Todd here, founder and Chief Mucky Muck Emeritus at Mambo Movers. I turned the company over to my partners years ago, and I still absolutely recommend them for medium to large moving jobs of all kinds.
I have a van which I use for my print company The Grand Review, but as I only go to shows and street fairs with it in perfect weather, and almost always on a weekend morning, there are times when it sits idle, hollering' in the driveway for more action.
When I started Mambo, one of the cornerstones of our identity was our relationship with the arts community in Philly. We made ourselves available to all the arts, music and theater groups in town for the kind of discount costs that helped them thrive. All natural for us, as we were strong threads throughout that community already.
I have no desire to return to running a moving company, but being involved in my own way carries an excitement that I still treasure. Therefore I put together this part time sideline to stay connected, have a blast, and sometimes barter for tickets to something to have a groove date with ma femme.
