We hope your month has been filled with jazz appreciation so far! We’ll be sharing about some incredible women in jazz 🌟

We would love to see the day when the contributions of women in jazz are just naturally included. We also want to see the day when women are well represented in jazz — as students, as academics, as composers of the music and repertoire being taught, as performers on stages, and behind the scenes, too. That said, our mission is to create greater inclusivity and community. We want to raise the voices of girls and nonbinary students in jazz and showcase women in jazz past and present to educate and inspire people. ❤️🖤🤍

Happening tomorrow, Sunday, March 8, at Settlement Music School Germantown Branch in Philadelphia from 1-5pm. Open to especially girls in jazz, but students of all genders, ages, experiences, parents, educators, musicians, jazz lovers, and anybody that just wants to be a part of this incredible day.

Sign up now! Join us THIS WEEKEND for the Key of She Jazz Jam happening on Sunday, March 8 from 1-5pm at Settlement Music School in Philly. Students, bring your instruments and a friend and come attend this free day full of jam sessions, workshops, and performances! Parents, educators, and jazz fans- come for a breakout session with Nicole Sweeney from WRTI and a closing performance at 4pm by Ginita y La Orquesta Esa.
