Terms of participation:
- Age requirements: 18 - 35 years of age on June 30, 2018 (may be single or married);
- All contestants must have resided in Pennsylvania for at least 6 months prior to June 30,, 2018;
- All contestants must be of Ukrainian heritage;
- All contestants must be able to converse in Ukrainian;
- All contestants must have good moral character, no criminal record, and no explicit publicity.
The contest has NO limits on height and weight. Everyone is welcome to participate, we encourage all to show Ukrainian beauty through contestants' good moral character, personal qualities and achievements.
PART 1 Application and Submission of Supporting Materials

If you would like to participate in the Miss Ukrainian Philadelphia 2018, please complete the following:
1. Please submit one (1) single email addressed to [email protected], with your full first and last name in the reference line, and include the following attachments:
- Short statement about you, your Ukrainian heritage, its importance to you and the reasons behind your decision to participate in Miss Ukrainian Philadelphia 2018. The statement shall be in English or Ukrainian, one (1) page long. Kindly observe basic letter etiquette, proper grammar and punctuation. Please include in your statement your full name, residential address, and contact information (telephone and e-mail).
* Our Miss Ukrainian Philadelphia 2018 team will help each contestant create a professional video presentation which will be posted on the contest website and social media pages. In order for us for assist you, please provide:
- Audio/Video Recording of your statement. Maximum length is 100 seconds (1 min 40 seconds);
- One (1) photo clearly showing your face (JPEG format) which will be posted as your profile photo during the casting. The photo must be of good quality and of high resolution;
- Up to seven (7) photos of the contestant's choice (all JPEG format, high resolution);
- Various video clips by or about the contestant (your own camera/phone recordings, YouTube or other links describing you, your talent(s), achievements, awards, volunteering activities, etc.
- Music file or the name of the Ukrainian or Ukraine related tune/music/song, that you will choose to be in the background of your video presentation.

*The fee includes: processing your application, creation of your video presentation on our official website and social media pages, and complimentary tickets to each of: Casting Results Party ($35 value), Pre-Miss Party ($35 value) and Miss Ukrainian Philadelphia Show ($100 value) as well as additional benefits listed below (value $350).
- By submitting the above stated materials, you confirm your voluntary participation in the Miss Ukrainian Philadelphia 2018 contest and provide Miss Ukrainian Philadelphia (or its authorized third parties) with your consent to the public use of your photographs, audio and video recordings in any public actions relating to the conduct, promotion and/or media/press coverage of the Miss Ukrainian Philadelphia project. You further agree that all public photo/audio/video materials of any part of the Miss Ukrainian Philadelphia 2018 contest are its property, subject to fair use and proper usage.
- By entering this contest, you agree that you will attend all rehearsals and follow all directions, instructions and procedures established by Miss Ukrainian Philadelphia. If crowned, you agree to participate at the subsequent Miss Ukrainian USA contest representing Pennsylvania and to continue to maintain good moral character until your crown will be transferred to the following Miss Ukrainian Philadelphia.
- Upon submission of your application, you will receive an official confirmation e-mail welcoming your participation.
PART 2: CASTING, new date TBD
Online voting by friends, public internet community and contest's judges; Up to Top 12 contestants will be selected to participate in Miss Ukrainian Philadelphia 2018
PART 3: CASTING RESULTS

Up to 12 top contestants (selected by on-live voting by friends, public internet community and contest's judges), in addition to the benefits stated above, will receive the following:
- complimentary use of garments (Ukrainian embroidered dress and evening gown), with the right to purchase them at the special reduced prices;
- complimentary make up/hair services;
- complimentary professional photo services;
- complimentary coverage in post-event printed and media materials;
- priority in ticket purchasing for friends and family members.
PART 4: MISS UKRAINIAN PHILADELPHIA 2018 CONTEST

• $500 expense coverage toward her participation in the following MISS UKRAINIAN USA
• VICE MISS Popular Vote - Sash, professional photo package, print/media coverage
