COMEDIAN SIGNUP POST for the Broad Humor LIVE stream TONIGHT @ 9pm EST
Here are the PREREQUISITES and INSTRUCTIONS for signup.
PREREQUISITES:
1. You must have a Facebook account. We need to be able to communicate with you, and we use Facebook.
2. You must be known to our networks. We don't currently have the resources to vet people who are unknown to anyone in our networks.
3. You must have access to Zoom.
4. You must be able to use audio and video on your device. You must enable both in Zoom.
5. You must be able to respect boundaries. (This online stuff gets bonkers, and we'll be live, so stakes are high.)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Comment below.
2. Provide your STAGE NAME
3. Provide your PREFERRED PRONOUNS. (If you do not provide your preferred pronouns, and you are not personally known to us, we will default to they/them.)
4. Submit your comment and confirm that it has posted. (Just because you sent it, that doesn't mean we got it.)
5. Get acquainted (if you aren't already) with Zoom at https://zoom.us/
6. Prepare a 1-minute set.
7. Tell your networks to like and/or tune in TONIGHT!
IMPORTANT NOTE: We already have a STACKED LINEUP, so we can only offer 1-minute sets via this post. Want more time? Go to Nacho Mic at Home beforehand.
WHAT NEXT:
1. No later than 6pm, we'll close signups. (We'll notify you if we're over capacity.)
2. No later than 8pm, we'll add you to a Facebook group. We will provide:
- Zoom meeting info
- Virtual mic instructions & tips
- A more precise call time
3. We MAY publicly post other stuff, like a lineup.
4. We'll go live on our page around 9pm Eastern.
5. No guarantees to performers who miss their call times.
6. If PREREQUISITE #5 isn't met, we will likely disconnect you.
7. Lots of people will have lots of fun!
