We are saddened to hear about the sudden passing of local Filipino artist and muralist, Justin Nagtalon aka . Justin was a relatively recent friend and collaborator, but his passion for his culture and his art was truly admirable.

He was responsible for designing our Bahay Kultura graphic for our merch, creating the character Sunny Boy that we’ve all come to love.

Our condolences and prayers go out to his family and friends, and may his memory live on through his art and legacy. 🙏🏽🇵🇭🕊️

About last night…salamat to all who came to hang for our first ever Salu Salo Parents Mixer. The night was complete with food, line dancing and karaoke — all the elements of a great Filipino party.
