EgoPo Classic Theater EgoPo transforms timeless works of literature into innovative and engaging theatrical events.

We re-envision the classic canon by re-introducing diverse works and re-bodying existing canonical works to ensure a wide range of voices, bodies and stories are shared on our stages. Just one week ago, We had our annual fundraising gala! We want to offer a huge thank you to everyone that joined us for the event, the volunteers and staff that made it all possible and the artists that brought the past back to the present.

Our annual gala is always a unique experience. This year our colonial era inspired gala brought a complex menu of culinary traditions back to the surface and highlighted so many different local vendors!

Each of these shows invite you into an immersive world in which you feel the show on your skin: you taste it, feel it, experience it, interact with it.

EgoPo Classic Theater is seeking Summer Interns!

EgoPo Classic Theater is now accepting applications for our Summer internship program (hiring up to 4 people for this position). Our internship program will focus on theater administration and producing. Interns will work on a variety of tasks ranging from data management, marketing/social media, fundraising research, audition and pre-production support, as well as assistance during our annual gala event. Requirements are a minimum of 16 hours per week for 12 weeks (which can be broken up).. Hybrid options are available though preference toward in-person work..

We are looking for interns to begin as early as May 4th! Please note, priority will be given to those able to work during our annual gala event on May 31st.

Compensation: EgoPo can offer travel stipends for either SEPTA or Tolls. EgoPo offers academic credits to any current students depending on your university’s policies.

To be considered, email [email protected] with a current resume and short cover letter detailing your interests in theater administration. Submissions will be accepted through April 14th.
