Meet Jacob Cauthron! Jacob is an artist in many respects. In his free time he practices martial arts, writes lyrics and reads frequently. He enjoys the mediums of theater and film and in pursuit of becoming a more capable actor has been a member of Playhouse West Philadelphia for the better half of a year now. His character, Jason, has been left to his own devices for as long as he can remember. Shunned, defeated and refused time and time again, he has become accustomed to standing on his own and knowing not to rely on the cooperation or support of others. To his knowledge, the only things he finds himself able to control are those over which he can establish an absolute dominance. As a means of compensating for his self-consciousness and inability to truly relate to his surroundings, he attempts to tower over them; carrying himself with inflated pretension, struggling with the self-destructive tendencies that result from his necessity to maintain an animalistic sense of superiority.
