Yes headlining is the goal and it’s amazing BUT…

Opening makes you better!

It tells you how deep your crates are, it tests if you can move a room WITHOUT the big records and it allows you to take bigger risks without worrying about losing a dance floor.

STOP playing pre-made mixes until it gets packed 🙄

EXTRA TIPS:

Make sure the song you’re using to set gains has drums playing so that you’re measuring the loudest sounds 🔊

If you do end up up raising up channel gains further… make sure that you match the other side as well or else when you go to mix… your next song will be quiet 👎🏼

Lastly, using an external mixer instead of going direct from your dj gear allows you to have what is called MORE HEADROOM 😍
