Happy 10th anniversary to us! 🎉 On April 12th, the Penn Medicine Symphony Orchestra took the stage at the Perelman Theater at the Kimmel Center for our biggest concert yet.
A massive congratulations to our conductors Dr. Dan Zhang () and Dr. David Zhang () for leading us through an incredible night of music, featuring Shostakovich’s Festive Overture, the world premiere of Ìròlé di Àárọ̀ by second year medical student Siji Osunkoya (.the.holy.land), Márquez’s Danzón No. 2, Sibelius’s Finlandia, and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade, with a spectacular solo performance by third year dental student Kaito Mimura ().
