Famous dancer & actress. She danced with legends such as Josephine Baker and was one of the first Black dancers to dance with the Metropolitan opera.

Check the comments for a video of her dancing to Quincy Jones’, “Soul Bossa Nova” in Dear Quincy. The dance was choreographed by her husband Geoffrey Holder, who was also a famous dancer and choreographer.
