I Am Not in Control of What Happens Around Me. I Am In Control of My Response.
'Tis the season for journaling. Journaling intentions, goal setting, resolutions, etc. Reminding yourself daily to stay the path and adjust as necessary has been a sentiment we've all had to cultivate this past year. I believe we continue to strengthen this muscle going into 2021 because we are still in such an ever-changing environment. Journaling helps me ground. I can be a little more fire and air, according to my astrology and ayurvedic dosha, so grounding myself by journaling is incredibly instrumental to me. It helps me clear the clutter in my mind and helps me see why I am doing things or where I may be stuck.

Happy 2021, friends! Wishing you all a start to 2021 filled with hope and healthiness, and maybe even a little space to tune into the love held deep in your heart and surrounding you in every moment.

2020 was a big one for . I took some space from creating from March-September because my (then) 3 year old son was taking a safe break from school and was home with me. I rebranded from Hand-Painted Yoga to Painted in the Stars, which was a huge foundational move for the direction of this business. I launched the Grace collection, which was a thoughtful abstract collection featuring meaningful quotes. And then I launched my Astrology and Human Design mug collections right in time for the holidays, which were super fun. I'm proud about my accomplishments for 2020 in light of the various challenges we as a world have been feeling. I feel very lucky to have been able to create and work from the safety of my home and to have connected with many fellow artists on the in 2020. I'm excited for 2021 and am creating micro intentions throughout the year listening closely to my energy. Thank you for your support and attention in 2020—you've been such a blessing.

The Grace Collection I launched this year was one of my most monumental creations this year.

Inspired by a commissioned painting about grief that I made for someone to gift to a girl who lost her father to Covid, this collection was an emotional journey through the turmoils of this year and moments personal in my past, in order to learn the principles and power of grace.

This calendar features each piece of the Grace collection and is meant to inspire you every month in 2021. No matter what happens, grace is there for you in times of strength and fear.

Time's almost up for Christmas shopping! My mugs, totes, hardbound journals, and large art prints are made to order so get those orders in ASAP if you are looking to get them under the tree in time.
