🖤🤎Honoring Legacy. Living Lineage. 🤎🖤

We celebrate the unveiling of the Black Dance Legacy mural in Philadelphia — honoring the pioneers who shaped generations of Black artists in dance.

For our founder, Dr. Iquail Shaheed, this moment is deeply personal. In conversation with Joan Myers Brown, it reflects a living lineage rooted in mentorship, history, and the passing of knowledge.

Their legacy lives on — in the work, in the body, and in the future we continue to build.

DANCE IQUAIL! is seeking professional dancers to join the company. Female, Male, and Gender non-conforming artists who are compelling performers across roles are strongly encouraged to audition.

💥: Audition Class (Horton Technique) 12p-3p
