Coming to the Bike October 27 & 28: No One Rides Alone (ticket link in bio)

Can someone with Multifocal Motor Neuropathy (MMN) ride the route of the Tour de France? That’s what Clive Phillips and four fellow veterans set out to discover during the Tour de MMN 2025. Following the 1955 Tour de France route, the team set out to see if they could ride in the wheel tracks of the first British Tour de France team.

Would they overcome the challenges of the Alps, Mont Ventoux and the Pyrenees?  Or would the impacts of this rare disease on Clive’s motor function and strength bring him and the team to a halt?

From Making the Most of Now and the team at Silvereye films behind the award winning “One Day Ahead”. No One Rides Alone, follows the team as they ride around France, connect with the rare disease community and learn more about MMN and the impacts it and conditions like it have.

Featuring double Paralympic gold medalist Ben Watson and Italian para-triathlete Ilaria Brugnoli, No One Rides Alone is a journey of discovery and an intimate portrait of how with team work, positivity and a willingness to be vulnerable we can achieve the seemingly impossible.

Set against the majesty of the French landscape and a remarkable historical achievement. No One Rides Alone tells an inspiring story that has lessons for us all whatever challenges we face. The film aims to raise awareness of MMN, inspire the rare disease community and raise funds for MMN Research.

A steady, ongoing rhythm of bells rings from outside the black box at Yellow Bicycle Theater. A buffalo skull painted blue, yellow, and red rests center stage among a long feathered headdress, a small teepee, an animal hide, and a drum. The volume maximizes as Delwin Elk Bear Fiddler nears the stage. He arrives in colorful, lively attire – ankle bells, moccasins, and bright, swaying strips of fabric that animate his every movement. Greeting the audience in his native language, he sits comfortably on the animal hide alongside his things to tell the tale of the White Buffalo Calf Woman—a legend passed down through many generations of the Dakota, Lakota, and Nakota Native American peoples whose original mainlands ranged from present day North and South Dakota to parts of Montana, Nebraska and Wyoming.

Delwin Elk Bear Fiddler, member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, and world-renowned Native American Performing Artist is a competitive grass dancer and advocate for Native people. In recounting the legend of the White Buffalo Woman, Fiddler uses the items that adorn the stage to enliven the story along with song and dance. It is told that a White Buffalo calf arrived to the Lakota people before transforming into a serene woman. The chief called upon the grass dancers to purify the ground for her, and the White Buffalo Woman brought sacred rituals and blessings to the land and people:

“Spirit keeper, help me to have compassion for all people…help me to walk with honesty and dignity."

“Mother Earth, remind me to never take more than I need and to give back more than I take."

Guest productions and events now have access to discounted rates for top-tier publicity services.

YBC's goal of serving as a launchpad and landing pad for fringe shows traveling between New York and Philly is fast becoming a reality.
