Help us welcome Guest Artist J.A. Kirk (they/them) to the SHARP family!

Originally from Traverse City, Michigan, J.A. trained at Interlochen Arts Academy before earning degrees in Dance and Integrative Physiology & Health Sciences from Alma College. Since moving to Philadelphia, they have performed in multiple Philadelphia Fringe Festival works and are currently a company member with Anne-Marie Mulgrew and Dancers and IRIS and Dancers.

💭 What are you most looking forward to?
“I am most looking forward to growing as an artist and getting to know the SHARP family!”

🎨 Outside the studio, J.A. enjoys baking, crochet, and watercolor.

We’d like to congratulate Jazlyn Tan .jy on her acceptance into LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore, where she will be pursuing a Master’s degree in Arts Pedagogy and Practice.👏👏👏👏

Jazlyn joined SHARP as a guest artist while one of our dancers was on maternity leave, but it didn’t take long for her to become an invaluable part of the company. To say she will be missed is truly an understatement. Her positivity, professionalism, and incredible talent as a dancer have made a lasting impact on all of us.
