ey made it big" (NIRVANA, PEARL JAM, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, THE OFFSPRING, and countless others) we cant be more excited to host For the Record: Philly Edition in this legendary space! For the Record events happen at Coconut Grove in National Park, NJ on Tuesday nights and (starting 3/5/23) at Dobb's on South, in Philadelphia, PA each and every Sunday night. At our Philly event, we provide a full back line, a professional sound engineer, lighting, and more for our open mic guests and ALL performers are welcome (full bands, solo artists, spoken word/poetry, rap, hip hop, classical, comedians, singers, anything goes). Performers get three songs or 15 minutes on stage and sign ups start at 7:45pm. In addition to our open mic we simultaneously hold an EPIC vinyl record event. All guests receive FREE raffle tickets to win free vinyl records throughout the evening and we play ONLY VINYL RECORDS between our performers. We get new records from our sponsor each week so you never know what you will find on the record table. We never have less than 50 records available for you to look through and choose from. Guests are welcome and encouraged to bring unwanted records from home and swap them out with some of ours (max 3 per week). We accept and love any and all vinyl record donations as well
