“Play dough? Just play dough?” People ask me all the time. “Just watch.” I say, “it’s so much more.” ❤️🧡💛💙💚💜
hi 👋 im Erin and I started Adoughma out of my kitchen, for kids like my son and his friends and our community in Philadelphia. Adoughma joined the team at Jewish Learning Venture last year because this team knows that everybody loves to play, and most people, no matter how old they are, really love to play with dough.
My mother passed away of dementia this year and even while she declined, she and my kids enjoyed her occupational therapy sessions together.
It got me thinking 🤔 dough regulates 🌀 the body and brings joyful play to the heart ❤️ maybe dough can tell a story or help us learn 📕 or remember important facts 🧮. Dough brings us all to the same table and invites us to sit together, share together, create together.
Maybe dough can do so much more.
Help us grow this year and share the joy of dough with your community. Tag a Jewish org that you think should get to know us!
If you partnered with us last year, thank you. 🙏
Book a pop-up dough play session + support your curriculum at Hebrew school or camp⛺️!
Ask us about our PD sessions for educators on sensory support strategies.
Together we can build a world 🌎 that works for lots of different needs by creating an accessible, sensory-regulating way to play.
